The Pine Burr Area Council invites you to join us at the 2022 University of Scouting.
We are extremely grateful to have the use of classrooms on the campus of Gulfport High School and have gathered a collection of subjects pertinent to whatever position you presently hold, or anticipate holding, in your pack or troop. Experienced volunteers and professional Scouters will lead each session and share their knowledge with you.
Whether you are new to Scouting, or a well tenured veteran, we believe there is always something new to learn. At the end of the day, you will leave with new ideas, a fresh perspective and practical information to take back to your units. From the selection of over thirty subjects, you will have the opportunity to choose any six that interest you, and this year we are excited to offer our new (non-academic) University of Scouting Degree Program.
Also new this year, we would like to see your best photographs of scouts in action. The winner will receive a framed poster-size copy of their picture. All pictures must be received no later than October 25th and should be emailed to Dorothy Neumeier at sr322fox@gmail.com.
