Exciting News: A Hauntingly Good Time Awaits!

Get ready, Scouts and families—it’s time for one of our most fang-tastic events of the year… Fall Family Camp is creeping closer, and this year’s theme is a not-so-spooky Spookoree! You won’t want to ghost this event!

This Council-sponsored campout is open to all Cub Scouts and their families, so grab your costumes, pack your tents, and join us for a weekend full of ghoulishly good fun, including:

🎯 BB Guns
🎯 Slingshots
🏹 Archery
🎨 Creepy Crafts
🎲 Spooky Games
🕸️ And frightfully more!

Whether you’re launching spiders with slingshots (just kidding… maybe!), creating monster-themed crafts, or playing ghostly games, there’s something magical for every Scout.

So bring your whole spooky crew and join us for a weekend of thrills, chills (the fun kind!), and outdoor adventure.

Everything You Need to Know for a Hauntingly Good Time!

We're thrilled to welcome you to Fall Family Camp—a weekend full of outdoor adventure, spooky fun, and unforgettable Scouting memories in South Mississippi!

🕖 Check-In & Health Forms

Check-in begins at 7:00 AM
Activities start promptly at 9:00 AM

At check-in, you will:

Turn in health forms for everyone attending (adults, youth, siblings—everyone!)
Get your campsite assignment
Receive your schedule of events
Pick up lunch tickets if you pre-ordered a sack lunch

Can’t print? We’ll have copies available at check-in, or stop by the Scout Office to grab some ahead of time.
💡 Pro Tip: Fill one out for each family member, scan and email them to yourself for easy access at future events.

🎯 Activities & Schedule

You’ll rotate through stations with your pack and district all day long.

🔥 Saturday Night Campfire

Join us for the campfire program on Saturday night!
Packs and dens are encouraged to perform fun skits—it’s not required, but Scouts love it. Start brainstorming and rehearsing now!

⛺ Camping Information

You’ll be camping and rotating with your pack and district.
No one else from your Pack coming? No problem—you can still attend!
Friday night camping is available for $1 per person. Click here to pay. Once paid, we’ll call you the week of family camp with your campsite assignment.
Tent Rentals Available: Open-air platform tents with 2 cots and floor space.
Gear Hauling: We’ll have a trailer to help transport gear to your campsite if needed ✅ Pro Tip: Use a beach-style wagon to roll your gear in with ease!

🍴 Meals

Saturday Lunch: Pre-purchased sack lunch- hamburger, chips, cookie, bottled water. (Available for purchase on the next screen)
- Pick-up location will be announced at check-in.
- No extras available—please bring your own lunch if you didn’t pre-order.
Saturday Supper & Sunday Breakfast are provided for all campers!

👕 What to Wear & Bring

Comfortable walking shoes—you’ll be on your feet!
Cub Scouts can wear any outfit during the day, but please note that it is customary to wear your Scout uniform to supper.
🎭 Since this is a Spookoree, costumes are welcome and encouraged!
💵 Bring cash for the Trading Post—candy, snacks, drinks, t-shirts, and more will be available!
