Tall Pine Roundtable will kick-off again this Thursday August 9th at Parkway Heights United Methodist Church from 6-7PM. The meeting will take place in Room 302, which can be found by taking the main elevator to the 3rd floor and it will be the room to the left. All adult volunteers from every unit are invited to attend.
Roundtable will take place at the same time and location on the 2nd Thursday of each month until the end of the school year. Each Roundtable will begin with a general session that will last approximately 20-30 minutes. The focus of the general session will be going over important announcements and bringing everyone up to speed on district news that affects everyone. The remaining 30-40 minutes will be program-specific (Cub Scout or Boy Scout/Venturing) breakout sessions, which will typically cover training and other important discussion topics.
Each Roundtable will have a theme and the theme for August Roundtable will be Recruitment & Fundraising. Cub Scout Breakout topic is “1st Pack/Den Meeting for New Scouts” and the Boy Scout/Venturing Breakout topic is “All Things Eagle: Project Ideas, Scholarship Opportunities, & Beyond.”
